Calcot ParkGolf Club
Following on from the successful membership promotion last year, Calcot Park Golf Club is to extend the promotion again this year in offering a range of membership opportunities to enable you to enjoy this renowned Harry Colt designed course set in the heart of the Thames Valley and within easy access of the M4.
The introduction of special membership categories is aimed at the casual golfer who, perhaps from personal circumstances, may not be able to take advantage of full membership at Calcot Park but, at the same time, will give them the opportunity to enjoy the course.
Membership of Calcot Park provides an ideal opportunity if you wish to improve your game further. Calcot’s Head PGA Professional, Gareth Johnston, is a recognised coach in his own right but is also an Elite Teaching Professional with Today’s Golfer Magazine. He is supported by three PGA Assistant Professionals creating a team whose primary objective is to provide the highest levels of customer service and teaching for golfers no matter what your ability.
Membership to the Club also provides an ideal opportunity if you wish to improve your game further.
Presently, our Full 7-day membership category is filling up quickly, but please call and give us your details. 5-day (waiting promotion to 7-day, membership) is currently available for both men and women and will be issued on a strictly first come, first served basis. It has always been a concern and disappointment that many youngsters who go off to further education do not have the chance to continue to develop their golf ability. This package has been created to encourage local University or College students (together with siblings of existing Calcot Park members who are away at University or College) to continue to play golf particularly during holiday periods.
The cost of the Student Associate package is £375 and provides unlimited golf during the year but not on days when competitions are scheduled. Student Associates will not enjoy any membership rights, will not be able to gain a club handicap or enter club competitions. As with all Associate packages, £50 of the subscription cost will be put onto the Student Associate’s Bar Card but will not qualify for members’ discount.
The age category will be from 19 years of age onwards and apply to anyone bearing a Students Union card or having other proof of being engaged in further education.
If you have a child between the ages of 10 and 19 years of age who wants to take up golf why not consider Junior Membership? The cost is just £150 per annum and gives juniors of all ages the opportunity to enjoy the Club and develop their game. For more information about the Junior Section simply go to the Members homepage and click on the relevant icon.
